Junior Accountant (Accounts Payable Focus) - 6 Month Assignment Province of Antwerp | 4 days on-site, 1 day home working We are looking for a Junior Accountant to support our Chief Accountant during a 6-month assignment. The role is mainly focused on Accounts Payable, with exposure to monthly closing and general accounting tasks for one legal entity. Key Responsibilities Processing and booking purchase invoices Managing vendor accounts and preparing payment runs Following up on invoice discrepancies Supporting invoice approval workflows (SAP is a plus) Assisting with monthly closing and reconciliations Supporting VAT declarations, Intrastat, and monthly revenue declarations (plus) Profile Bachelor in Accounting or equivalent experience Experience in invoicing and accounts payable (required) Strong Excel skills (essential) ERP experience is a plus (SAP is a strong plus) Dutch and English required Eager to learn and understand the reasoning behind accounting processes Accurate, hands-on, and proactive
